My goals for my Buckley first graders reflect the standards identified through the Common Core State Standards (CCSS). Although some have criticized the CCSS movement, it has much value as a vision for student achievement. When combined with assessment and quality instruction, the Standards become a valuable framework for design and delivery of instruction. For more information, see www.qualityinstruction.org. Refer to Align, Assess, Achieve, LLC through McGraw Hill. I also found quite useful the "I Can" goals for First Grade on Pinterest.
